Slacker

Well I have been Slacking. The King of Slack. I'm not sure if anyone has noticed but it is summer time and it is HOT outside. Dan does not like hot. I have been out and about looking for some neat-o items to share, All I have come up with the last two weeks of note is LEGOs.

LEGOs are great for reselling. I bought two boxes over the last couple of week that netted almost 12 lbs. I’m figuring at $6 to $8 a pound there is money to be made. Not to mention the little LEGO people or Minifigs are valuable on their own. If you come across LEGOs cheap they are worth the investment.

That is all I got today. I’m still working on a website and you tube channel. If I was not such a SLACKER!

Keep Your Eyes Peeled

This is the first of many items that I will post about for everyone to be on the look-out for an easy sale. I learned about this camera from watching one of my favorite you tube channels Mypacrat. Joe posts his weekly finds while out and about and then updates items that have sold. His videos are what started me really wanting to get back into picking and re-selling. I watched a few of his videos and then started looking for more picker videos. Let me tell you there are a lot of cool folks posting their finds on you tube. I will start doing videos soon also.

Anyways back to the item at hand. Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera. I saw Joe talk about one on his video and then the next day ran across this one at a garage sale for $2.00. It is in pretty rough shape on the outside but even in the shape it is in and untested it brought a buy it now price of $45.00. So after shipping and fees, turning $2.00 into $30.00 in less than 12 hours is a pretty good magic trick. That is what I call JUNKcycling!

Keep your eyes peeled for one of these.

Which logo looks best. I like them both.

It begins.......

To blog or not to blog, that is the question. This will be the beginning; you have to start somewhere, right? Blog #1 of hopefully many fun and interesting adventures in picking, garage sale hunting, curb shopping, estate sale looking, junk pile digging and just plain scrounging to make a buck. I like to call it Junkcycling. It is true that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. I love to find treasure! Like a pirate!

In the coming days and weeks I’ll be starting a website, and you tube channel to document some of my finds and sales. Follow along. It could get crazy.
